Metro Line 4 to Kuanzhai Alley Station (宽窄巷子站), exits B/C, about a 2-minute walk.

- Step-free main lanes: Flat pedestrian lanes, step-free and wheelchair/stroller friendly on main paths; side courtyards may have steps.
What to notice
- Free to wander the three historic lanes — Kuan (宽, folk culture), Zhai (窄, slow-living cafés), and Jing (井, modern boutiques).
- Photogenic Qing-dynasty restored architecture; most atmospheric in the evening.
- Food inside the alleys is tourist-priced — locals eat cheap on the adjacent Kui Xing Lou Street (奎星楼街).
- Teahouses, ear-cleaning, and Sichuan-opera-face-changing shows (e.g. 禧来蜀韵园 ~138–168 CNY) charge separately.
- It is NOT a single gated ticketed attraction — entry to the streets is walk-in and free.
