The park is open 24 hours as a public park. Heming Teahouse runs roughly 06:00–22:00. The internal Baolu Movement memorial hall is about 09:00–17:00 and closed on Monday.

Getting there
Metro Line 2 or Line 17 to People's Park Station (人民公园站), exit A, directly to the north gate.
Many buses serve the park (4/5/7/13/43/47/58/64/81 etc.).

- On Saturday afternoons the 'matchmaking corner' (相亲角) fills with handwritten bios — a famous local spectacle.
- It is flat, leafy, and step-free throughout — the easiest, cheapest way to feel Chengdu's slow-living rhythm.
